Karthik Sekar

Karthik is a Dallas-born dancer rooted in hip hop, popping, and house. He began his journey in college from 2019 to 2022, performing with Dancing For A Cause and Collective Movement, competing at GoodPhil with UTD Modern and at World of Dance with E.P.Y.H., and showcasing with The Alliance. His growth during that time was shaped by the mentorship of Haley Summers, Hamza Ahmad, Kevin Middleton, and Phoebe Livingston, who helped him build his foundations and develop his identity within dance.

Returning to dance in 2025, Karthik found his footing with Fundies before joining Project A, and has since taught workshops at Evenground and UT The Space. He’s excited to keep giving back to the community that has given him so much.
